FAQ


1. What should I bring from home?

-Fon Jon provides all food and water bowls, bedding and blankets, toys and treats.
-The only items you should bring from home are food and medication, which should be individually bagged per serving.

2. My pet is on a special diet, are we allowed to bring their own food?

-Absolutely! If you decided to bring you own food from home it must be individually bagged per feeding. We recommend packing an extra serving just in case.

3. What happens if it rains?

-All pets will continue to recieve their scheduled playtimes unless it is pouring outside. If it is pouring then dogs will return to their individual runs with covererd patios and indoor dens.

4. Do I need proof of vaccinations for my pet(s)?

-Yes. All pets are required to have proof of up to date vaccinations. It is the owners’ responsibility to make sure that Fon Jon Pet Care has all vaccinations on file. We will not provide any services including boarding, daycare, grooming, or training without proof of vaccinations.

5. What do you do if my pet becomes ill?

-If a problem arises, we will always try to reach you or your emergency contact before taking any action. During normal business hours, we will take your pet to a corresponding veterinary hospital. After normal business hours, we have arrangements with a nearby 24 hour emergency facility.

6. Where does my pet go to the bathroom while boarding with you?

-For our canine guests, they have an outdoor patio attached to their sleeping quarters that is regularly sanitized. Our highly trained staff continuously monitor all eliminating and consumption behavior.

-Each of our feline guests have a litter box that is frequently checked and changed throughout the day.

7. Can my pets board together?

-As long as both pets get along and can eat their food next to each other, we can board them in the same run together.

8. Will someone be watching my pet 24/7?

-Fon Jon is patrolled by experienced kennel technicians and staff present between the hours of 6:30AM to 7:00PM. We have a staff member that lives onsite and is available at all times to respond to problems or emergencies.
-During holidays, or other office closure days/times, kennel technicians are still caring for your pets.

9. What is your policy regarding payment?

-All clients are required to have a card on file in case of emergencies (Credit card must be in the name of the owner).
-Fon Jon collects full payment upon arrival for all appointments. If you need to extend your stay, the remaining charges will be charged to the card we have on file.

10. Do you have extended office hours for pick up/drop off?

-Drop off and pick up times are set, we do not have extended hours for pick up or drop off. If you are unable to get here during our office hours, your pet will be boarded an extra night and you may pick up the following day.
