Our San Diego boarding facility is built around structure, safety, and consistency, with lots of space for dogs of all sizes, a trained team of 18 staff members, and overnight supervision. Dogs are separated by size, temperament, and play style, which matters a lot when a dog needs distance from other dogs or people.
At Fon Jon Pet Care, dogs with aggression toward humans or other dogs are cared for in a dedicated boarding section designed specifically for their handling and care. This separate wing helps create a calmer, more controlled environment for non-social dogs while allowing us to safely separate social dogs from non-social dogs.
Fon Jon has also boarded police and working-dogs, including Border Patrol, Highway Patrol, Orange County patrol k9s, and most Police k9 in San Diego County. Our experience includes consultation on kennel design for San Diego police dogs.
