Pet Camper Policies


Covid-19 Updates as of 08/27/20:

Boarding, Daycare, Grooming, and Training will be attended to by ringing the “Daycare Bell”.

Phone and Email Response Hours:

Monday – Friday 9am to 3pm

Saturday 9am to 12pm

Sunday 1pm to 4pm

Monday – Friday 8am – 5:30pm 

Saturday 9am to 4pm

What to expect when checking your dog or cat in for boarding…

Be prepared to:

  • Fill out a Boarding Contract.
    This can be filled out ahead of time– see “Pet Contracts” above!
  • Pay in full at the time of drop off.
  • Provide vaccination records, if they were not yet sent over.
  • Provide feeding instructions–every pet has different needs!
Kennel Tours:

All kennel tours are offered daily between the hours of 10:00am – 12:00pm & 2:00pm – 3:00pm. Please call to schedule your tour!

Reservation Policy:

Be sure to make an appointment before drop off. We cannot guarantee space without an appointment. During major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, & New Years) we require a $70 deposit per pet. The deposit is refundable up to 10 days before the reservation check-in date.

Pet Food:

Fon Jon provides a chicken and rice kibble for all our pet campers at no additional cost. If you would prefer to feed your camper his/her own pet food, please have each serving individually bagged and labeled to make it easier for our feeders. (*Note: Because our Campers are exerting so much energy with our Camp Counselors, we recommend adding a little extra food to their breakfast or dinner to maintain a healthy weight while with us!)

Camp Gear:

We supply all camp gear including bedding, toys, food and water bowls at no extra cost. This makes it easier for our Campers and Camp Counselors to monitor the items and not have to worry about them getting damaged. You are, however, encouraged to bring your pet’s food if you want to keep them on the same diet/they have special food.


We have Certified Pet Technicians who can administer your pets’ medication while you are away. Please bring only the exact dosage your pet requires and have it bagged and labeled per serving. We do not give injections of any kind.

Daycare/Group Play:

We know that some of our clients are confused about who is responsible for Vet charges when a dog gets injured during Group Play. Please read the disclaimer below to understand the Fon Jon policy:

Fon Jon shall exercise reasonable care for the Pet delivered by the Owner. Owner recognizes and accepts potential risks involved in Daycare. The Owner agrees to be solely responsible for any and all acts of behavior of said Pet while it is in the care of Fon Jon, to include payments of costs for injury to itself, or damage to facilities caused by the Pet. Injuries may include but are not limited to viruses/bacterial infection, giardia, hot spots, tendon/ligament tears, ACL, fractures, lacerations, and punctures.


In the unfortunate event that your camper experiences a medical emergency while camping with us, we will transport your pet to your local vet, or the closest vet available. Please note that owners will be responsible for all vet bills, including transportation to vet office, veterinarian services, medication, and administration of medicine.


We will be closed all major holidays. Please note that during our peak holidays seasons, all Camper packages will have a $10 price adjustment and all suites (Deluxe & Executive) will have a $20 price adjustment. Please check our calendar for a full list of dates of our peak season. We also do not offer the new client discount during Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Years.
