Fon Jon Pet Care has been servicing San Diego pets for over 70 years! We are proud to have been the first kennel in San Diego, and the only indoor/outdoor kennel in San Diego.

Original owner Fon Johnson opened the kennel in September 28, 1950.

Our certified dog trainer has worked with hundreds of dogs. At Fon Jon Pet Care we offer a variety of training programs, from training your new puppy to basic and advanced obedience.

Pet Grooming

Our full-time bather loves animals and has over 10 years of experience with us. He has worked with all breeds and can get your pet looking and smelling its best.

Dog Daycare

With a large outdoor daycare yard that offers unique park-like settings, plenty of fresh air we have fun-filled activities for all! We offer single day packages all the way up to monthly packages available for your dog!

Dog Boarding

We offer comfortable accommodations for both dogs and cats and have a wide variety of activities available for your pets. Both dogs and cats enjoy their own private room with an attached outdoor patio.

Cat Boarding

While their canine neighbors are out running around, our cats are lounging in their private cozy condos.
